Exciting times! My debut novel, From the Hill of Megiddo, is coming out soon. The paperback will be available in the next 3-5 days, and you can pre-order the eBook ahead of its release on 30 March. Yesterday, my proof copy arrived and after showing it off excitedly and staring at it with admiration I was able to sign it off with CreateSpace. That means it will be listed on Amazon in the next 3-5 days and from there you'll be able to buy it straight away.

Cover art and what comes next
Here we are! Cover art for From the Hill of Megiddo, which I have to say makes this whole publishing lark feel that much more real. It's not too bad either, if I do say so myself.
Writer, publish thy self
If there's one thing that I can say I hate - nay, despise - doing, it's "selling myself." This goes whether we're talking about CVs and interviews when you're job hunting, or query letters when you're looking for an agent to consider taking your writing to publishers. It's not something I've ever been good at.
