Self-publishing From the Hill of Megiddo has been a learning experience in a lot of ways. If you haven’t had a chance to read it yet, then please do feel free to buy a copy from any of these stores. However, here I want to talk about what comes next.
Even before I published this book, I had a number of others written, and I will be looking to get them out across the next few years.
Most immediate of these is Orphans of the Dead. This is intended as the start of a new five part series, called Armageddon’s Offspring, set in the same universe as From the Hill of Megiddo. Two of its sequels have already been written and the last two are in progress. A second draft of Orphans is currently being proof read, with the intent of it coming out in May 2019.
The cover art on the proof copy is by Noah Willis. It’s a development piece, so the final cover might not be exactly the same, but I’m happy with how it turned out and have asked them to do the art for the whole series.
The other book I’ve already written in Iarraindorn, which is set 2,000 years before From the Hill of Megiddo. But you might have to wait a while to find out more about that, because the plan with Armageddon’s Offspring is to put out one a year, and I’m not sure where this will fit in with that yet.
More updates to come. Watch this space.
